Have this to hand
- Model and serial from the rating plate — behind the kick panel or inside the door frame on most of these.
- What the appliance is doing and when it started, plus any code showing on the panel.
- Whether something changed first: a power cut, a gas shut-off, a new worktop, a hood or duct alteration.
- How the kitchen is reached and whether the appliance can be drawn forward — island seating and a narrow doorway both matter.

What does the $95 service call include?
The visit and a full diagnosis — readings taken, fault identified, repair explained. Approve the work and the $95 comes off the total rather than being added to it.
A burner clicks but will not light. Do I need a technician?
Often not. If the igniter is clicking, the spark module and the switch under the knob are both working, so the usual causes are a burner cap sitting proud of its seat, a port ring blocked after a boil-over, or a wet igniter tip. Seat the cap flat, dry everything, try again. If every burner clicks at once, or you smell gas with nothing lit, stop and call.
The oven runs hot at the back. Is that a calibration problem?
Sometimes, but a genuine front-to-back gradient is usually airflow rather than calibration. A convection fan slowing under load, a blocked cavity vent or a door that no longer seals along the top edge will all skew a cavity while the sensor keeps reading true. Calibration is what you adjust after those are ruled out.
Are induction and radiant cooktops covered as well as gas?
Yes. Induction faults tend to be thermal — the inverter under the glass sheds heat through a small fan, and once that fan clogs the zone shuts itself down under a heavy pan. Radiant faults are usually element or relay. Both are diagnosed on the worktop.
What parts do you fit?
Factory-approved parts where the platform still supplies them, and components from the original makers where it does not. The part is named on the estimate before it goes in.
Do you work for Wolf?
No. This is an independent repair business, not affiliated with Wolf or any manufacturer. An appliance still inside a manufacturer's own programme should go through their service line instead.

Spark on every position but no gas at all to the back left. Its valve had a blocked passage full of dust from building work upstairs. Stripped and cleaned, and he covered the counter before starting.

Hinges had dropped so the door sat crooked and heat escaped along the top edge. He rebuilt both hinges and fitted a new seal. The door shuts with a proper thunk again and preheating is far quicker.
